1. Don’t optimize your Website for the wrong keywords

You need to first plan your website and pages as per your product and market demand. You need to find out most searched keywords on google which are relevant to your products.

Don’t choose those keywords only which are highly searched. It may be a competitive keyword. Have a good mix of the low to medium competitive keywords in the beginning.

    1. Keep your Title and Headings contains your keywords

Make sure your Page Title and Headings contains your Keyword. For example: You keyword is “Handcrafted shoes”. You can created a Title i.e. Best Handcrafted shoes from Gujrat / Handcrafted shoes for women

Both title contains above contains “Handcrafted shoes.

    1. Optimize you Images for SEO

Make sure when placing an image in your webpage you use the ALT TEXT for the image. Also, you can use photoshop or other tool to reduce image size/Kbs. Don’t compromise on image resolution, just optimize for the web. A good image file size should not exceed 50 Kb, try to keep it low. It helps in reducing page load time.

    1. You text must be unique and contains the relevant topic

Don’t copy contents from other websites. Google may penalize your web rank. Your content should be unique and relevant to your webpage topic and keep at least 200 words in page and maximum of 3,000 words. Headings and sub-heading must be relevant and should contain your search keyword.

Remember, the more time you spend writing good/quality contents for visitors of your website, the more Google will appreciate it.

    1. Reduce Page Load time

Make sure, there are no unwanted scripts running on your webpage, Server response time is low and page loads faster. Don’t add too much of plugin and third party scripts on the webpage.
